Join St. Croix 360 and Square Lake Festival at the inaugural event to showcase films submitted as part of the St. Croix River Tales film contest. The films will premiere and winners will be announced aboard the Avalon river boat launched from Stillwater on Friday, Sept. 25.
Having had the chance to watch and vote on the films, I can say I’ve never seen anything else like this focused on the St. Croix River. They show creativity, production quality, and variety of voices united by a love of the river.
St. Croix River Tales is an innovative, multi year Open Call for five-minute or less films about the St. Croix River. This project launched last year on our riverboat cruise, and we’re extremely excited for the film premiers, award ceremony and dialogue with filmmakers with audiences on Sept. 25. Learn more about St. Croix River Tales here.
Your ticket includes a sunset cruise on the St. Croix River, dinner, films (St. Croix River Tales premieres and other new Square Lake Showcase films), and live music at different locations around the boat.
