Via the St. Croix Valley Ski Club:

We are a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to giving 3 to 14 year olds an opportunity to learn to cross-country ski in a family setting. Skiers of all ability levels are encouraged to join.

Kids ski with others in their age and ability level. We play games and develop fundamental skills that create the foundation for healthy, life long sport.

The league meets at the William O’Brien State Park Visitor Center every Sunday from 1:00-3:00 PM for an eight-week period starting the first Sunday in January.

We meet in all weather conditions. If snow conditions are poor, we will hike the park trails and play games. Awards are given for kilometers skied during the season.

Fees are $30 per child with a maximum cost of $75 per family. Registration and payment can be done on the first day of the club, please come early.
