The St. Croix River Association (a St. Croix 360 partner) is seeking applicants for the new position of Invasive Species Coordinator.
Funded by a grant from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the position will initially focus on aquatic invasive species (AIS) such as Eurasian milfoil, zebra mussels, and invasive carp.
The individual chosen for the job will coordinate a collaborative effort to “identify AIS threats in the St. Croix and its watershed, develop long term strategies for the management of existing AIS and protection against new infestations, and strengthen and expand effective partnerships to increase capacity for AIS work.”
Required qualifications include everything from a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field to canoe and kayak experience. See the job announcement below for details.
Applications are being accepted until June 13, or when the position is filled. To apply, send a cover letter and resume to St. Croix River Association executive director Deb Ryun at email@example.com.
