Next week in Stillwater, river fans will gather for an hour-long film that covers a 30-day trip down the Yellowstone River. Where The Yellowstone Goes captures the beauty, power, people, and challenges facing America’s longest undammed river.
The “star” of the documentary, fishing guide Robert Hawkins, will be there to answer questions and talk about why he has now fallen in love with the St. Croix and other Midwest rivers (it has something to do with the sheer number of fish species he can catch, just like why he enjoyed the Yellowstone).
Robert recently sat down in front of a camera at his fly shop in Lake Elmo and answered a few of St. Croix 360’s questions. If you want to ask him your own, buy your ticket at this link for 8 bucks and come to the Water Street Inn on Thursday.
