Take in Shakespeare in St. Croix Falls with Festival Theatre’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which closes Thursday with two shows.

Kids can learn fun games to play while camping at the Young Naturalist Class at Willow River State Park, in Hudson, running tomorrow (August 6) through Thursday.

Creative women can make “beautiful, functional and inspired objects to wear, display, give as gifts, or share with your friends” at Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!, presented by Off The Wall Studio at The Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, today through Friday.

Enjoy movies and music along the river in Stillwater during Summer Tuesdays, featuring America band Moors & McCumber and the movie Hugo. Tuesday starting at 5:30 p.m. in Lowell Park.

Explore the cosmos from Willow River State Park with the Universe in the Park on August 9. Join astronomers from the UW-Madison Astronomy Program for an evening of exploring the universe with a presentation and telescopes to use.

Find some inner peace at the park with Outdoor Yoga at Lake Elmo Park Reserve on Thursday from 6 – 7 p.m.

Admire the art hanging in ArtReach St. Croix’s gallery in Stillwater, and make some of your own, while enjoying music and hands-on activities during the weekly Live from the Front Porch on Thursday.

Story of 360

One of the biggest challenges facing the St. Croix River is harmful blooms of algae in in the lower river, due to excess nutrients in runoff. The goal is to restore the river by reducing phosphorus levels to 360 tons/year. Learn more »
