giveBIG Osceola logoOsceola Community Health Foundation in partnership with 40 other nonprofit organizations will be working together on April 23 for a day of unprecedented giving. giveBIG Osceola is a 24-hour online fund drive through which these nonprofit organizations aim to raise $175,000.

“This will be the first fundraiser of its kind in Western Wisconsin to raise money for so many local charities during a single day event. And these charities touch nearly all areas of our lives from maintaining trails and conserving the St. Croix River, to hosting local theater events and providing food, clothing and health care to those in need.” According to Sue Gerlach, Osceola Community Health Foundation Director.

“Our goal on April 23 is to get everyone that lives, works or visits the Osceola area to log on to giveSCV.org and donate to the many organizations that enrich our everyday lives,” she said. “With increased demand for services, our area is in need of an up-to-date broad community appeal.”

The St. Croix River Association is one of the participating nonprofits, along with several other groups active in local conservation efforts.
