There is another winter storm watch for the end of this week. The snowy season just won’t relent.

But lingering winter hasn’t stopped at least one person from getting a paddle wet. Sean Samec of Marine on St. Croix Falls sent the two photos below of an outing he took on the river on April 7.

Please note: it is dangerous to be on the river right now, with extremely cold water and ice and snags which can easily cause an accident. Please wait until the weather and the water warms up.
