Thanks to River Radio for having me on again last weekend, for the sixth or seventh time. Presented by the Marine Community Library, host Gayle Knutson and I discussed the latest on Lake Alice at William O’Brien State Park, our recent article about the removal of a dangerous power line over the river at St. Croix State Park, and of course, my St. Croix River watershed book project.

My segment is preceded by DNR Resource and Asset Management official Kelli Bruns sharing an update on the agency’s plan to repair and restore the manmade lake that was accidentally drained due to an equipment malfunction in August. I am followed by Laurie Schneider of the Pollinator Friendly Alliance, who discusses the controversy over dog training and field trails at the new Keystone Woods Wildlife Management Area.
