A crew of river-lovers kicked off River Awareness Week on Saturday by paddling and picking up trash in Wild River State Park.

The group included the Boy Scouts of Troop 242 from Savage, Minnesota – helping for a second year.

Thanks to Gary Noren for sending the photos, and to Kacie Carlson, Wild River State Park naturalist, for providing additional info.
