St. Croix Youth Summit seeks to inspire the next generation of environmental leaders

The third annual St. Croix Youth Summit will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the UW – River Falls University Center. This dynamic conference is for middle, high school and college age students who want to learn about the environmental issues and challenges facing the St. Croix River watershed and take action to make a difference.

The goals of the St. Croix Summit are to:

  • Gather – Gather together as a collective, youthful voice for science and for the future of the St. Croix River watershed
  • Learn – Learn from professional conservation leaders about the environmental threats to the St. Croix River watershed
  • Discuss – Discuss environmental cause and effect, implications and solutions with your peers
  • Do – Take what you learn from the St. Croix Summit and put it into action in your school and community

When: Thursday, February 27, 2020
Where: University Center, UW River Falls Campus

Who: Middle School, High School & UWRF students
Costs: Free for students (transporation scholarships available; application required)
$25 per adult (teacher / chaperone)
