Tracy Maki from the St. Croix River Association sent this report about Kids on the Water:
We had more than 90 people show up from 24 different families. Hi Tempo came with three pedal kayaks and two stand-up paddle boards. Marine Landing had their kayaks out and the Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway also brought three.
With a couple of canoes tossed in, we had A LOT of people out. Gorgeous afternoon. Activities included:
- Seed balls
- Water bug viewing
- Tattoos (temporary)
- Fish print t-shirts w/NPS was VERY popular again
- Bean bag toss
Served up root beer floats and watermelon. Thanks to Marine Landing b.o.t.m., Hi Tempo and the National Park Service!
