Scenes from the 2018 Marine Poetry Crawl.


In past years, the biennial Marine Poetry Crawl let people enjoy readings from local poets at local venues — from the Marine Garage to the Village Hall. This year, with a stay-at-home order in place, the event will happen online.

For the third time, I will be one of the poets reading. There are eight folks this year, representing a broad set of voices.

Here’s a haiku I wrote recently that will be included in my reading:

Time spent in nature 
Offers gifts of many types
Nothing you can keep
