St. Croix steward to speak about future of river protection and restoration

During 2018, the 50th anniversary of the National Wild and Scenic River Act, the emphasis has been on celebrate. The St. Croix, was one of the first eight rivers to be designated as wild and scenic and has benefitted from management by the National Park Service. The St. Croix River Association, official non-profit partner of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, began an active mission to protect,
restore and celebrate the Riverway in 2008 and hired Deb Ryun in 2009 to lead the work as executive director.

What comes after a year of celebration?
