On Saturday, April 11, 2015, the Wild & Scenic Film Festival will be hosted by Couderay Waters Regional Land Trust at The Park Center in downtown Hayward.

Film selections will take the audience to some of the most remote and beautiful places on the planet, and inspire conservation solutions to create a positive future for the next generation. Festival-goers can expect to see award winning films about nature, community building, adventure, conservation, water, wildlife, agriculture and local conservation programs.

There will be two shows, a Children & Youth Matinee and the Wild & Scenic Film Festival evening event. The Children & Youth Matinee will begin with live music provided by NorthWoods Strings students at 12:30pm, the films will begin at 1pm. Matinee films are appropriate for youth ages 5-18 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Free will donations will be accepted at the matinee.

Tickets for the evening show are available now at Art Beat in Hayward, and are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Doors will open at 6pm, and films will begin at 7pm. Come early to visit the national sponsors table, register for door prizes, and view original art posters designed by Hayward High School art students inspired by the films.

Visit the Couderay Waters Regional Land Trust website: www.couderaywaters.org for more information and a listing of the 2015 Film Selections.
