Saturday, October 5, 1 – 2 p.m.
Special guest presenter Dr. James Almendinger, Sr. Scientist, St. Croix Watershed Research Station
Location: Visitor Center, Wild River State Park, 39797 Park Trail, Center City, MN.

How is the water quality of the St. Croix and Sunrise basins? Streams and lakes in both basins have been declared “impaired.” What does that mean, and what is being done about it? Discover how scientists are using the past to inform the present for the St. Croix, and how computer modeling can simulate the future of the Sunrise River. See how our actions can make a real difference!

Refreshments will follow program. Program is free, but annual state park sticker or purchase of single-day permit will be needed to enter the park. Plan to come early or stay late to enjoy the beautiful trails of Wild River State Park.
