rendezvousThe 24th annual St. Croix River Research Rendezvous will be held October 15th in Marine on St. Croix, Minnesota. This day-long conference features short presentations about current work to better understand the river and its watershed by scientists, resource managers, and public agency staff.

The 2013 Rendezvous will offer 20-minute presentations on a variety of topics, including water levels in Valley Creek and White Bear Lake, the state of the river’s diverse mussel populations, waterfowl numbers and habitat, and excess phosphorus and the algae it causes. The event is sponsored by the St. Croix Watershed Research Station and will be held at Warner Nature Center. Register here.
