Your participation is needed for KRLT’s 19th annual river cleanup! Last year nearly 100 volunteers showed that they care about the health of the Kinnickinnic River and we hope you will be part of an even larger turnout this year.

Saturday, April 20, 2013

  • 9:00 a.m. – Sign in at Glen Park Main Shelter
  • 9:30 a.m. – Welcome
  • 9:30 to noon –  KinniRiverCleanUp
  • 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lunch provided by River Falls Rotary and The West Wind.

This is a wonderful way to explore the Kinni while collecting trash along it’s banks — making a difference in the health of the river.

Meet at 9:00 a.m. sharp at the Glen Park Main Shelter (near tennis courts).

We strongly suggest that you wear work gloves and work boots and if you are going to be in the water dress appropriately. Long sleeve shirts and long pants are recommended despite the weather, for the protection they provide against the sun, thorny or poisonous plants, and biting insects. Wearing a hat and eye protection is also recommended. It’s important to keep hydrated so bring yourself plenty of water and a snack to keep your energy up.
