For 20 years, a group of potters have held a pottery tour and sale  every spring, inviting people to drive through the St. Croix River Valley from studio to studio.

Next week, the group will finally show their work together in one gallery for the first time, at ArtReach St. Croix‘s gallery in Stillwater:

The Minnesota Potters of the Upper St. Croix River will be featured in Tour de Force, an exhibit at The St. Croix Galleries at ArtReach St. Croix. The potters, known regionally for their annual spring tour, will gather their works in one location for this special show. A universal theme among the works of the potters is functional beauty – the ability to bring beauty and art into everyday life through beautifully hand crafted pottery. The show will feature work by Robert Briscoe, Linda Christianson, Guillermo Cuellar, Connee Mayeron, Jeff Oestreich, Will Swanson, Janel Jacobson and Richard Vincent.

The show opens Wednesday, October 17  with a reception to be held Friday, October 19 from 6 to 9 p.m., which is free and open to the public.
