St. Croix 360 is an online news outlet featuring weekly content about the St. Croix River region. Coverage includes recreation, science, fishing, culture, and history. Stewardship is woven into everything.

St. Croix 360 is published by Greg Seitz, with a growing number of contributors from throughout the region. Our goal is to build appreciation for the St. Croix River and its watershed and inform and engage users about conservation issues.

Partnering with St. Croix 360 supports our efforts while reaching our readers with your organization’s message.

Who:

  • 25,000 Facebook fans passionate about the St. Croix River
  • 3,000 to 30,000 people reached per Facebook post
  • 10,000 average website pages viewed per month in 2016

Options:

1. Display ad – $50/week
Rectangular image on the right side of all St. Croix 360 pages, linked to your site.

2. Sponsored article/excerpt and Facebook post – $200
Engaging photos and text on a relevant subject, prepared by St. Croix 360 or provided by sponsor. Includes sponsorship message and link at bottom.

3. Sponsored Facebook post – $50 + boost budget*
Any combination of photo or photos, brief status text, and links in a post on the St. Croix River Facebook page.

To increase visibility on Facebook, additional funds can be put toward “boosting” a post. Worthwhile expenditures range from $15 to $100 per post, all of it paying Facebook to show the post to more people.

Story of 360

One of the biggest challenges facing the St. Croix River is harmful blooms of algae in in the lower river, due to excess nutrients in runoff. The goal is to restore the river by reducing phosphorus levels to 360 tons/year. Learn more »
