An Osceola & St. Croix Valley train crosses the St. Croix River on the Cedar Bend Bridge

A St. Croix River Association event geared toward families on October 8 will offer a special trip on the St. Croix Valley Railway, the scenic and historic train that runs along the river from Osceola, Wisconsin to Marine on St. Croix, Minnesota.

The tourist train frequently carries passengers who get a unique perspective on a beautiful stretch of the St. Croix. The SCRA event will add dinner provided by Osceola’s Watershed Cafe, Junior Ranger activities for children, and more.

Tickets are $35 for adults and $20 for children (or $10 less per ticket with no meal). All proceeds benefit SCRA’s efforts to protect, preserve, and celebrate the St. Croix River and its watershed (SCRA is a St. Croix 360 sponsor). Buy tickets here.
