You might get a little airsick, but the video below is worth the ride. Check out the footage made above the twin Lion’s Parks in St. Croix Falls and Taylors Falls.

Nature note: The pilot and videographer using YouTube handle stcroixoutdoors says he named his plane “Macromia” from the genus of the River Cruiser dragonflies. According to the Saint Croix National Riverway, two species of “cruisers” are found among the 52 dragonfly and damselfly species here, the Stream Cruiser (Didymops transversa) and the Illinois River Cruiser (Macromia illinoiensis).
