The 300 Days in the Watershed exhibit at ArtReach St. Croix’s Stillwater gallery will feature the photos of Ryan Rodgers of Osceola, flies tied by Gabe Schubert of Stillwater, and sculpture by Dale Lewis of Hastings.

Rodgers has been an occasional contributor to St. Croix 360. This spring, he did an interview about his photographic philosophy. Previously, he has written about paddling the Apple River canyon and upper St. Croix and  his experience as artist-in-residence at the St. Croix Watershed Research Station’s Pine Needles cabin last summer.

Schubert is an accomplished angler. He works at Bob Mitchell’s Fly Shop in Lake Elmo and spends his free time pursuing muskellunge on the fly rod around the upper Midwest. His musky flies, some of which are a foot in length or more, are complex works of art, and painstakingly crafted.

Lewis’s sculptures include a 200-pound dragon made of stainless, mesh wire and glass eyeballs which was recently commissioned as a permanent work at the Hastings Prescott Area Arts Council’s gallery.
